Technicals


Bitcoin can be analyzed from the point of view of a financial asset. Bitcoin's price discovery process depends on various supply and demand factors, which can be tracked in the resources linked below.

Bitcoin Daily Volatility Index - A chart of Bitcoin 24h volatility. The lower the volatility, the higher the probability of a significant move. 

Bitcoin Weekly Volatility Index - A chart of Bitcoin 7D volatility. The lower the volatility, the higher the probability of a significant move. 

Bitcoin Long-Term Volatility Index - A chart of Bitcoin 30D and 60D volatility. The lower the volatility, the higher the probability of a significant move. 

Price-by-Volume (PBV) Chart - A horizontal histogram chart showing the volume traded at various price levels. It is useful for spotting support and resistance levels. 

Bitfinex Long-Short Positions - A chart of BTCUSD Long-Short positions on Bitfinex exchange. 

Futures Open Interest - Open interest positions of CME futures contracts

Combined Order Book - Aggregated order book for BTCUSD across all major exchanges. 

NVT Signal - NVT Ratio is a valuation indicator that is derived from Bitcoin's market valuation and transaction value ratio. 

Bitcoin Trend Channels - Shows the Bitcoin trend channels over 1 year, 4 months, and 2 months. 


Fundamentals


Bitcoin is an open-source technology project and a passionate community of developers continues to work on and build applications on Bitcoin's protocol to this day. Here are some resources to keep track on the latest developments as well as other fundamental data. 

Bitcoin Github Pulse - A monthly overview of the state of Bitcoin development, including the number of commits, merges, and active issues. 

Active Wallets Per Day - Chart of active wallet addresses per day.

Transactions Per Day - Chart of confirmed transactions per day. 

Hash Rate Chart - Hash rate refers to the number of tera hashes per second the Bitcoin network is performing. As the Bitcoin network’s difficulty increases, the hash rate increases, which in turn increases the cost for miners to mine Bitcoin. 

SegWit Adoption Rate - Percentage of Bitcoin transactions that has adopted the SegWit protocol upgrade.

Lightning Network Statistics - Check the current number of Lightning network nodes, channels, and network volume.
